Football: Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara interleague squad announced

PENOLA Football Club’s Jordan Galpin, Simon Berkefeld, Scott Merrett, Brad Maney and Luke Walker have been selected as part of the initial Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football League’s training squad.

The five footballers are up for selection to represent the league in the upcoming South East Zone Carnival in Robe on June 9.

KNTFL will come up against both the Mid South East and Western Border football leagues in the round robin carnival.

Kaniva/Leeor United A Grade coach Nick Murphy has taken the reins, while Bordertown’s Cam Sandercock is assistant.

Senior squad training will be at Naracoorte on Sunday, May 20 and 27 before the final session on June 3 where the team will be selected.
