GLORY: Former South Gambier cricketers Adam Somerfield and Patrick Page claimed a comfortable win in their Twenty20 grand final.

FORMER South Gambier cricketers Adam Somerfield and Patrick Page capped off a big Twenty20 season for Tea Tree Gully Bulls with a comfortable grand final win on Sunday.

The Bulls faced Adelaide University at the Adelaide oval and made easy work of the task.

Page captained the side to victory after just 13 overs of the allotted 16, which had been shortened due to rain.

Adelaide Uni batted first and finished its 16 overs at 3/106.

Somerfield bowled two overs, with figures of 0/12 and held a catch to dismiss the dangerous Sam Kerber, who finished with 32 runs from 29 deliveries.

Page came in at number three with the bat and managed 12 runs off 16 balls, including one six.

Somerfield followed and finished unbeaten with 24 runs from 19 deliveries, finding the boundary three times.
