SEAC: Action under lights

TWILIGHT MEETING: Motorkhana returns to the Mount Gambier saleyards Saturday night, with final placings for 2017 yet to be set, which is sure to provide plenty of action on the night.

A BUSY year for the South Eastern Automobile Club is almost at an end, with Saturday seeing the culmination of a busy year of motorsport action.

Saturday’s twilight motorkhana will also serve as the first event for next year’s series, but the outright and handicap placings for the 2017 series are not yet set in stone.

Just 12 points covers the top six drivers for outright honours and nine points separates the top three for the handicap award.

Regular competitor and new director Damien Wilson is sure to have some interesting courses in mind for Saturday’s event to be held at the Mount Gambier Saleyards complex.

Competitors are reminded entries are to be lodged by 6.30pm today and booking in and scrutiny will begin on Saturday between 2-3pm for documentation check and vehicle scrutiny, with competitive action set to be under way from 3.30pm.
