Rising hockey talents take next step

KEEN REPRESENTATIVES: Liam Delaney and Blake Mckee are keen to represent South Australia in the upcoming Pacific School Games.

TWO Limestone Coast rising stars are about to represent their state at their chosen sport of hockey.

Lower South East Hockey Association players Blake McKee and Liam Delaney are preparing to mix it with the best in the upcoming Pacific School Games.

McKee attends the Glenburnie Primary School and while Delaney hails from St Martins Lutheran College.

Both have both been selected to represent South Australia at the games.

McKee a defensive midfielder and Delaney a striking midfielder have both been travelling to Adelaide for the past two months since their selection, training in preparation for the tournament.

This will be McKee’s first time in the SA strip, while Delaney has worn the colours for SA in athletics, with this being his third time representing South Australia for hockey.
