Residents to cast seaside art votes

TUNA ATTRACTION: A proposed six metre tall breaching bluefin tuna made using recycled fishing dinghies submitted by Millicent artist Deon Howell.

RESIDENTS are being urged to cast their vote to choose one piece of public artwork for The Waterfront project at Port MacDonnell.

This follows Grant District Council securing State Government funding to revitalise the Port MacDonnell foreshore.

Council deputy chief executive officer Jane Fetherstonhaugh said The Waterfront would bring to life the concepts, objectives and beliefs identified through community and stakeholder consultation.
