Trussell in court over manslaughter charge

A MOUNT Gambier man charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of his domestic partner appeared in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court yesterday.

Bradley Wayne Trussell, 28, appeared via video-link on Tuesday and the matter was adjourned for another three months for charge determination.

It is alleged Trussell fatally assaulted 25-year-old Mount Gambier woman Eden Kennett on December 13 last year.

She was transported to the Mount Gambier Hospital, however died the following day after succumbing to the injuries inflicted on her by Trussell.

Family and friends of the victim filled the courtroom during the hearing yesterday.

The defendant’s lawyer said it was in everybody’s best interests to keep the matter moving.
