Lynette welcomes in 2024

As we welcome in the New Year 2024, I am sure we all reflect on the year just passed and look forward to planning the year ahead and contemplating how we might do things better.

As Mayor of the City of Mount Gambier I am looking forward to Council continuing to work with our community and other stakeholders so that we deliver our plans and aspirations for the City.

Mount Gambier 2035 is an exciting initiative where we are seeking your input about how you see the future of our City to inform Council’s Strategic Plan.

We would like to know what you value about our city and your vision for 2035, so I encourage you to participate as everyone’s thoughts are valued.

As well as working on our City’s long term vision, Council will be progressing work on our Sport Recreation and Open Space Strategy, CBD Activation, Crater Lakes Activation and our Partnership Priorities and Advocacy document.

Again, all very exciting initiatives to ensure that liveability in our beautiful city is maintained and we provide an environment for social well-being, economic growth and sustainability.

With my very best wishes to you all for 2024.

Mayor Lynette Martin
