Operation safety – Police catch four drivers

LIMESTONE Coast Police caught four drivers speeding or drink driving on Friday as Operation Safe Long Weekend began.

At 3.30am, police were conducting speed detection duties on the Dukes Highway at Pine Hill when they clocked a car travelling at 152kph in the 100kph zone.

Police stopped the car and spoke to the driver, a 36-year-old Para Vista man, who was issued an expiation notice for excessive speed and was also issued with an immediate loss of licence notice disqualifying him from driving for six months.
