Nora Creina Golf Course gains provisional development approval

A HIGH quality golfing and tourism experience – The Nora Creina Golf Course and Tourism Resort – located between Robe and Beachport has been granted provisional development approval.

The proposed two 18-hole international standard “link style” golf course and clubhouse is expected to cost $20m and create 33 jobs in South Australia through development and an additional 170 full time jobs once operational.

This in turn is expected to increase international and domestic tourism spending by $4.5m each year.

Modelled on the Northern Tasmanian course Barnbougle, Tourism Minister Leon Bignell said they want to capitalise on the growing international golf tourism market.
