In a historic event, Mount Gambier/ Berrin will see its first International Women’s Day march held this week.
Organised and lead by The Haven, anyone is welcome to join in or watch the event as it moves from Vansittart Park, along Commercial Street East to the Cave Gardens/ Thugi.
At the Cave Gardens/ Thugi celebrations will continue with guest speakers, free sausage sizzle, children’s activities and giveaways.
The International Women’s Day March will be held on Friday, March 8, participants should gather at Vansittart Park from 10.30am, with the march expected to begin at 11am.
