Police are investigating a fatal crash at Mingbool.
About 9.45pm Saturday, January 6, emergency services were called to Peweena Road, Mingbool, just north of Mount Gambier after a Mazda ute left the road and crashed into a tree.
Sadly, the driver and sole occupant, a 21-year-old Mount Gambier, man died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators flew to the scene to assist in the investigation.
Peweena Road, between Kentish and Kirby Roads was closed for several hours while emergency services were at the scene, but all roads are now open.
The young man is the 2nd Life Lost on SA roads this year compared to 3 at the same time last year.
