New arts funding available

Country Arts SA has launched a new funding program designed especially for regional and remote artist to expand their skills and grow career and employment opportunities.

The Artist Professional Development grant is designed to assist regional artists to meet their immediate needs.

This could include support to attend residencies and workshops, participate in mentorships, undertake masterclasses, work experience, internships and self directed residencies or professional development opportunities.

Country Arts SA’s chief executive and executive director Anthony Peluso said the program would empower artists in regional South Australia to develop their practice, produce extraordinary art experiences and share their stories.
