Pooch Party to hit Mount Gambier

POOCHES will be on show this weekend with Ray White Mount Gambier hosting its annual Pooch Party, this is an entire community and family event with everyone welcome.

The jam-packed schedule will include a range of fun filled activities for all ages beginning at 11am this Sunday running until 3pm.

Held at the Cave Gardens/Thugi, the event will raise funds for The Pink Paw Program and the South East Animal Welfare League.

Activities on the day include obedience classes conducted by the founder of The Pink Paw Program Taylor Wheeler who will be in attendance on the day.

Ray White Mount Gambier principal Tahlia Gabrielli said they were fortunate to have Ms Wheeler come to the event and share her wealth of knowledge of canine obedience, training, and behaviour.

There will be four sessions run throughout the day including Kid’s ‘N’ K9 Seminar, Energy Class, Leash Manners Class and Stay and Recall Class.

“This year we are also lucky enough to welcome Artscape Creative to hold a session for all ages as they are running a Draw a Pooch activity.”

She said the creative session was a perfect opportunity for guests to unleash their creative abilities.

“The event will also include a variety of food options including a sausage sizzle hosted by the team, hot dogs, a sweets stall with options including CupKates, Robetown Chocolates, Moments to Savour and more as well as having the Vanccino Bar on site for all caffeine and beverage needs,” Ms Gabrielli said.

“The atmosphere will involve live music and a great amount of company with stalls that you must check out including Bo-Bannies Pantry having a variety of special dog treats on offer as well as Eye of the Beholder displaying their amazing pet photography.”

There will also be doggy bags available for purchase, children games, activities, raffles, and more.
