TIME to dust off the old coin purse because the Mount Gambier Rotary Book Fair is back this weekend.

The Rotary Club of Mount Gambier is hosting its Book Fair on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 at City Hall.

Rotary Club of Mount Gambier president Patrick McEwen said there are over 10,000 books up for grabs, with a number of other surprises too.

Most books will be on sale for the price of a gold coin, with Devonshire teas, door prizes and a raffle on the cards as well.

The community can choose from fiction or non-fiction across a wide range of topics, and children’s books are all free of charge.

Rotary recommends bringing a lot of bags as they anticipate people will be walking away with more than an armful of books going to a new home.

Entry to the Book Fair is via the Cave Gardens for a gold coin donation and doors open from 9am.
