Floral art show wows crowd

WORK OF ART: The pieces made by the Floral Art Society wowed the crowed.

Julia Cutting, Mount Gambier Floral Art Club

Having recently travelled to Port MacDonnell to view the Mount Gambier Floral Art Club Display, I was met with a kaleidoscope of colour as I entered the room.

I stood amazed at the many beautiful designs, all different! The display was held in the Port MacDonnell Community Complex, and the Floral Art Club thank them for their hospitality.

Previously having been unable to see the collection of floral arrangements, the feeling of joy and amazement was overwhelming and the words coming to mind such as stunning, glorious, Amazing and the peaceful beauty, still does not fully convey what greeted me.

The stunningly beautiful and joyful collection of floral arrangements had to be seen to be believed.

Congratulations to all Club Members who participated.

The Floral Art Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Mt Gambier Public Library at 1pm.

The Club also holds a workshop on the third Tuesday of every month in The Senior Citizens Building in James Street at 7pm.
