Floral art thanks

FLORAL THANKS: Former president of the Mount Gambier Floral Art Club, Beryl Feast recently received a bunch of native flowers among her gifts to recognise her dedicated service over many years.

MOUNT Gambier Floral Art Club recently held a luncheon at Thyme at the Lakes to thank past President Beryl Feast for her dedicated service as Secretary and President, extending over 30 years.

Mrs Feast was presented with a group photograph of current club members and a bunch of native flowers by incoming President Bev Francis.

The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 1pm in the Mt Gambier Public Library.

A hands on floral workshop is held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Senior Citizens building in James Street at 7pm.

All welcome to attend, to view or participate, at a cost of $5 per person.

Currently the club has floral arrangements on display in the Port MacDonnell Community Complex.

The display began on May 1 and will be ending next Thursday.

All welcome to visit and view the free display of beautiful floral artistic designs.
