Barry Maney Ford receives high honour

HIGH HONOURS: Barry Maney Ford dealer principal Barry Stafford receiving the Ford President's Award from Ford Motor Company chief executive and president Andrew Birkic.

MOUNT Gambier’s Barry Maney Ford dealership has won a prestigious award, presented at an award ceremony in Brisbane last week.

Accepted by Barry Maney Ford’s dealer principal Barry Stafford, the Ford President’s Award recognises Ford’s highest performing dealerships and their staff across all departments.

Despite all its challenges, 2021 was another year of outstanding performance from Barry Maney Ford, according to Mr Stafford.

“It was very exciting to receive the award and I was super proud of our whole team at BMG and it’s testament to the hard work from all of our staff,” Mr Stafford said.

Ford Motor Company chief executive and president Andrew Birkic presented the award, where he paid tribute to the success of Barry Maney Ford and what it brings to the Ford network.

Also winning individual awards of Gold Master status in their groups was service manager Andrew Norman and parts manager Mike Millard.

The sales team, which includes Ian Williams and Mick Bonham, collected the Club Award for exceeding overall sales expectations for 2021.

The Barry Maney Group (BMG) will hold a celebratory event for the entire team on April 28 to celebrate the awards.
