Murder at the Museum goes ahead

MILLICENT Museum’s popular ‘Murder at the Museum’ event will go ahead on April 2 despite the Geltwood Festival being postponed to October.

Usually held at the same time as the Geltwood Festival, ‘Murder at the Museum’ will not be postponed and preparations are well advanced for the interactive theatre event at Millicent’s National Trust museum.

With local people dressed in period costume they take on the persona of a character in an almost ‘who done it’ style interactive theatre with onlookers moving from room to room in the museum where more characters give clues as to the culprit in a fictional crime.

There will be several showings during the evening beginning at 5.30pm with the last tour at 8pm.

After completing the tour and the interactive theatre show, attendees will be asked to guess who is the murderer and the first correct entry drawn from a barrel will win a four course dinner for two at Mayurra Station Tasting Room.

Tickets are $10 each which also gives holders an opportunity to visit the museum free the following day.

Bookings are required; contact Millicent’s Visitor Information Centre.
