Consultation open on TAFE SA regional plan

COMMUNITY members are encouraged to provide feedback on TAFE SA’s draft regional plan, which aims to provide a framework for new way of working with communities and industries.

TAFE SA chief executive David Coltman said the regional plan outlines the vocational education and training facility’s increased commitment to country communities.

Mr Coltman said the plan includes a new set of principles and goals to guide activity and the wide variety of education and training need in the regions.

“Over the past 18 months we have embraced accessibility challenges presented by COVID-19 and transformed our delivery at a pace we could never have imagined,” he said.

“This has had a huge positive impact on regional delivery opportunities for our staff and students.

“It has also reinforced the need for a balance between face-to-face delivery, and the opportunity to improve access to vocational education and training through digitally enabled delivery.”

The plan can be accessed at tafesa.edu.au/about-tafesa/regional-plan and a feedback submission form will be available until 5pm on October 20.
