MOUNT Gambier North Primary held a book fair this week, forming part of the school’s 2021 Book Week celebrations.
The book fair allows students to listen to stories, engage in activities – such as creative writing and colouring in – and select books to take home, read and keep or return and exchange.
The school hopes the initiative will become a permanent fixture of its Book Week celebrations, giving students more opportunities to access free books and share them with others.
Mount Gambier North has received an overwhelming response from the community, with a few hundred books being donated, together with vouchers and money.
