ABANDON SHIP: On February 26, 1951, steel cargo ship Corio was lost after running aground near Cape Banks when en route from Rapid Bay to Port Kembla, NSW with a cargo of limestone. Artefacts from the wreck are on display at the Port MacDonnell and District Maritime Museum.
