Rudimental pulls pin on city show

UNITED Kingdom drum and bass band Rudimental has pulled out of its planned Mount Gambier appearance, with Old Mount Gambier Gaol owner James Stephenson yesterday confirming the cancellation.

It follows months of uncertainty around the Toast To Our Differences Australian tour date, which was originally set out for February before being postponed to June 3.

A disappointed Mr Stephenson apologised to fans, although reasons for the cancellation have not been made public.

“Refunds are available for anyone who bought their tickets from The Old Gaol and for those who bought their tickets online, Ticketek will send either an email or a text message soon,” he
said.

“I am sorry to the town and to the region for the cancellation.

“I do what I can to create great music shows.

“I am always up for big bands to visit the region and always try to bring big shows to the town.”

Mr Stephenson said all is not lost, with a large announcement expected next month.

“We do have music in the pipelines for early next year and I will not stop because of one show,” he said.
