WATTLE Range Council is inviting community groups and sporting clubs from across the region to apply for funding in the second round of its grants program.
Over $26,000 was awarded to 15 separate organisations when the previous council considered first round applications at its September meeting.
Wattle Range Mayor Des Noll OAM urged local groups to consider making applications in this round, with funding of up to $2000 available to eligible groups.
“Council’s annual grants program provides much needed support to our local community and sporting groups,” Mr Noll said.
“The funds enable these volunteer organisations to maintain and upgrade their equipment and facilities or host events that benefit our region.
“These groups play a vital role in strengthening our community, making Wattle Range a great place to live.”
Application guidelines and forms are available on the council’s website.
