City engineering projects continue

MOUNT Gambier City Council will progress a number of engineering projects across the city this month.

Installation of a concrete footpath on Hart Street is 90pc completed, while a footpath resurfacing program is 50pc completed.

Road reconstruction on Wireless Road West (between Acacia Street and Matthew Flinders Way) is 40pc completed.

The extension of the Rail Trail from Jubilee Highway East to Pick Avenue is 95pc completed.

Road reconstruction on Crouch Street South (between Griffiths Street and Gwendoline Street) is 20pc completed.

Completed tasks include a concrete footpath on Swallow Drive, road reconstruction on Sturt Street and Helen Street and resurfacing of the path to Centenary Tower.

The fit-out of the Reuse Market on Eucalypt Drive has also been completed.
