City engineering projects continue

MOUNT Gambier City Council will continue to progress engineering projects across the city during September.

Concrete footpath construction on Swallow Drive and Kennedy Avenue is 65pc and 50pc completed respectively.

Road reconstruction on Heaver Drive is 40pc completed, while reconstruction on Helen Street has begun and is 5pc completed.

Fit-out works at the reuse market on Eucalypt Drive is 50pc completed – on track to open later this year.

The extension of the Rail Trail from Pick Avenue to Jubilee Highway East is 20pc completed.

Drainage improvement works on Bridge Street and footpath construction on Wireless Road East are both completed.
