BACK TO REALITY: Former Tarpeena resident Kayla Gray was farewelled from reality television show The Bachelor Australia on Wednesday night. The 25-year-old flight attendant is now based in Melbourne.

FORMER Tarpeena resident Kayla Gray was farewelled from reality TV show The Bachelor Australia on Wednesday night’s episode.

Now based in Melbourne, the 25-year-old flight attendant was among 25 women vying for the affections of international rugby star Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins.

Ms Gray said she had been “looking for love in all the wrong places” which prompted her to join the reality dating show.

Seventeen contestants now remain in the running as Australia follows one man’s journey to find true love.

The unconventional Bachelor is known for his larrikin one-liners and large personality.

Ms Gray made a splash in the first episode of the show’s sixth season when she jumped into a pool wearing an evening gown.
