City engineering projects continue

MOUNT Gambier City Council will continue to progress a number of key engineering projects in the city this month.

Shed construction at the reuse market site on Eucalypt Drive is 80pc completed, while a carpark resurfacing program is 60pc completed.

Road reconstruction on Commercial Street West is 90pc completed, reconstruction on Bailey Street is 30pc completed and road reconstruction on Caldwell Street is 30pc completed.

Paving on Helen Street as part of the ongoing central business district redevelopment is 95pc completed.

Stage two of the Rail Trail shared path is 60pc completed while the installation of a Disc Golf course at the Valley Lakes precinct is 90pc completed.

The construction of a concrete footpath on Wireless Road East is underway and 10pc completed.

Reconstruction of Railway Terrace and cell capping at Caroline Landfill has been completed.

Construction of a playground on Hanson Street in the city’s east has been completed.

A playground has been completed at AF Sutton Reserve at Wireless Road West.
