BLUE Lake Golf Club hosted a par competition on Saturday and Trevor Little led the way with a round of five-up to take out the overall prize.
Charleston Golf Club visitor Paul Barrett won A Grade on his first look at the public links with a round of two-up from the ever-consistent Ian Bown.
Rounding out the placings was the long-hitting Marc Dalton, with two-up.
Club veteran Kevin Howell required a count-back to win B Grade with three-up on a three-way tie.
Fred Knight and Marty Markiewicz finished second and third respectively.
Colin Rex scored four-up to easily win C Grade from junior Callum Harvey and Steve Dwyer, who finished second and third respectively on one-up.
Ball run down winners were Tim Bates (two-up), Paul Scullion, Kieran Ashby, Wayne Dunford, Matthew Fox, Adam Dunn, Alan Gale, Andrew Clements (one-up), Mario Mancuso and Keith Ransom (square).
The pro-shot on the fifth hole went to Jim Ferrazola who collected four balls for his nearest the pin.

Tuesday competition
REGULAR numbers were down on Tuesday, but it did not stop Alan Cameron from posting 41 points to win from life member Russell Lingham, three back on 38.
John Millhouse finished third on a count-back.
Ball run down winners were Jim Ferrazola 38, Ros McMahon 37, Colin Stratford 36, Scott Manning 35 and Wayne Dunford 35 c/b.
Winner of the best front nine was Ferrazola.
The hole-in-one voucher jackpot is now $1582.
Eagle for Pudney
THE daylight savings competition is heating up with just four weeks remaining.
The player of the year is still up for grabs as Bob White leads the way with 33 points, five clear of Setio Shanahan and Marty Markiewicz on 28.
Greg Cooper and Trevor Gartside are one shot back.
Week 22 saw players compete in strong winds as club veteran David McKenzie led the way with 24 points to easily account for Sean Pudney’s 21 points, which included an eagle-two on the par four, eighth hole.
That allowed Pudney to clean out the eagles nest and take home $253 as he edged out Kevin Mansell for the minor prize on a count-back.

Ella’s Purple Promise Golf Day
SUNDAY saw 20 teams turn out for Ella’s Purple Promise Golf Day and a total of $4318 was raised for epilepsy awareness.
The day was filled with fun and laughter as teams played a three-person ambrose and the winners were the local team of Bill Burley, Todd Williams and David Johnston with a score of 52 4/6.
The trio won on a count-back from Mat Fenwick, Shane Fenwick and Greg Cooper.
Rounding out the placings were Setio Shanahan, Jan Shanahan and Trent Eitzen on 54 2/6.
