City engineering projects progressed

MOUNT Gambier City Council has progressed diverse engineering projects across the city in December.

Committee meetings earlier this month were informed paving on Crouch Street as part of the ongoing central business district redevelopment was 90pc complete.

The Margaret Street walkway and public toilets at The Rail precinct was 95pc complete.

Earthworks and tree removal at the reuse market site was 90pc complete.

Sturt Street road reconstruction and Railway Terrace reconstruction were both 50pc completed.

Stage two of the rail trail shared path was 10pc complete while footpath reseals were 50pc complete.

The installation of sporting equipment at Don McDonnell Reserve in Conroe Heights was 20pc complete.

The Valley Lakes Disc Golf course was 70pc complete and a car park resurfacing program was 10pc complete.

Road reconstruction on Commercial Street East and North Terrace is complete.
