The Return of the King… of the Hill

MOUNT Gambier City Council has approved the closure of the Valley Lake precinct from February 15 to February 19 to allow for the King of the Hill National Drift Event 2018.

Council will provide in-kind support up to the value of $2000 to assist with closure of the Valley Lake precinct, track sweeping, waste management, grand stands and fencing.

The approval is conditional upon an appropriate risk, safety and traffic management plan, receipt of a certificate of currency for public liability insurance to be provided at least two months prior to the event and all approvals received from relevant authorities.
