Open garden in Kongorong

THE picturesque Aberfoyle Gardens nestled at Kongorong will be in full bloom for a twilight garden event to raise money for the Ryder Cheshire Foundation.

Property owners Max and Barbara Lightbody have offered their beautiful garden for the event, which will be held on Friday, October 27.

The Pine Tree Quilters will also have a display featuring Beatrix Potter with music also enhancing the evening.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided by supporters of Ryder Cheshire Foundation.

Tickets are $25 and available at Birdie Blue on Commercial St East or by ringing Neville or Kay Gilbertson on 0417 814 568.

The event is part of the Open Gardens scheme and guests can follow the signs to the property at 213 School Road, Kongorong.

The gardens will be open from 6.30pm to 9pm.
