At 3.30am, police were conducting speed detection duties on the Dukes Highway at Pine Hill when they clocked a car travelling at 152kph in the 100kph zone.
Police stopped the car and spoke to the driver, a 36-year-old Para Vista man, who was issued an expiation notice for excessive speed and was also issued with an immediate loss of licence notice disqualifying him from driving for six months.
Just after 11.45pm, police were conducting speed detection duties on the Dukes Highway near Keith when they detected a car travelling at 173kph in the 110kph zone.

He was reported for exceeding the speed limit and issued with a six month loss of licence.
Just after 11.45pm, police were conducting speed detection duties on the Dukes Highway near Bordertown when they detected a car travelling at 126kph in the 100kph zone.
Police spoke to and breath tested the driver, a 29-year-old Victorian man, who returned a positive breath test of 0.069.
Further checks revealed the man also only held a probationary driver’s licence.
He was reported for speeding and drink driving and will appear in court.
A man from Keith was also caught drink driving after he was stopped on Wynarling Road at Keith just after 8.40pm on Friday.
Police will allege the 69-year-old driver provided a positive breath test of 0.133.
The man was reported for drink driving and his licence was disqualified for six months.
His car was clamped for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in Bordertown Magistrates Court.
“The actions of all four drivers and the increased risk they placed on all road users is unacceptable,” Limestone Coast Highway Patrol Sergeant Paul Watts said.
“Choosing to drive at excessive speed or while drink driving dramatically increases the risk of fatal or serious injury collisions occurring.”
