Pratt wins across the border

FORMER Mount Gambier soccer player Imogen Pratt has just completed a dream weekend in the Geelong league.

Pratt relocated to Geelong to study at Deakin University, where joined the Deakin Ducks soccer team.

The weekend saw the side contest the grand final against Barwon, where they won with a convincing 3-0 scoreline.

For Pratt the day was even more special, after she scored two of the team’s goals and was named best-on-ground for the final.

The Ducks went through the year undefeated, with Pratt in a central midfield position, scoring 28 goals in total.

Pratt has previously won both the senior and junior best and fairest for the South East Women’s Football Association and last year won the B Grade best and fairest for the men’s Limestone Coast league, playing for Blue Lake.
