Wine group nominated for tourism award

COONAWARRA Grape and Wine Incorporated has been nominated for the Caravan and Camping Industries Association of SA Tourism Award.

The award is part of the 2017 South Australian Community Achievement Awards and will shine the spotlight on those involved in promoting their communities through tourism to contribute to a vibrant South Australia.

Coonawarra Grape and Wine Incorporation was nominated due to its aim to promote Coonawarra and highlight its international standing as a premium wine producing region.

Finalists will be presented and winners announced at an awards gala presentation dinner on November 17.

All nominees at the awards dinner will be presented on stage with a framed certificate in recognition of their achievements.

Each category winner will receive a $2000 prize and a trophy.
