MURDER CASE – Who delivered fatal blow?

CRIME SCENE: Police investigating the scene of the violent brawl earlier this year.

DEFENCE counsel for the Von Stanke brothers, charged with killing Bordertown man Rex Court, will cross-examine a forensic pathologist in a March hearing to determine who delivered the fatal blow.

Dominic, 20, and Jordan, 24, are charged with the murder of Mr Court, a 32-year-old father of three, during a fight on Commercial Street East at around 9pm on May 13.

Still residing on home detention bail in Carpenter Rocks, the pair appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday and are yet to enter pleas to the charge.

The matter was adjourned for a cross-examination on March 13, where the defence counsel will focus on the possible involvement of a third and fourth person and which injuries led to the death of Mr Court.
