2019 Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival launch

COMMUNITY members from around the Limestone Coast gathered at the Penola Coonawarra Visitor Information Centre on Thursday night to celebrate the launch of the 2019 Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival.

Festival chair Cate Bell thanked sponsors who made the event possible and encouraged the community to support the festival by attending later this year.

“The festival 28 years on and still packing a punch of excitement with over 80 experiences to enjoy this year,” Ms Bell said.

“I thank each of the volunteer committee for their enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication to making the Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival extraordinary – it’s a pleasure to work together as a team.”

The festival will kick off on May 16 with a host of different activities in categories such as “let’s perform”, “let’s compete”, “let’s taste” and “let’s be childlike”.
