THE 158th annual Mount Gambier Spring Show was held over the weekend with patrons flocking from across the Limestone Coast to attend the event.
The gates officially opened on Friday morning with perfect 24 degree weather forecast for the day, although the threat of storms created some concerns a change was looming.
But although showers on Saturday morning looked to put a dampener on the event, by mid-morning the sun was shining again ready for the day’s festivities.
Mount Gambier Agricultural and Horticultural Society president Kerry Hill said the event was well patronised.
“We have had a lot of great feedback with everyone saying they really enjoyed the show this year,” she said.
“It was a little bit chilly, but we still had a good crowd and we were definitely pleased with how everything went.”
