GAMBIER City Ladies Probus Club has celebrated its 24th birthday with a luncheon at the Mount Gambier Bowls Club.
Guest speaker Kevin Sporer provided entertainment for the day, which also included a general meeting and a cake cutting.
President Judy Modistach said the day was enjoyed by all who attended.
“It is wonderful to have events like this, especially when so many members of other clubs are in attendance,” she said.
“We had members from the three other Mount Gambier based Probus clubs in addition to those from Naracoorte, Penola, Port MacDonnell and Rotary as well.
“We are all one big family, it does not matter what club we are from, we support one another when it comes down to it and we keep ourselves busy day to day, which is very important.”
