COONAWARRA vineyards came to life as the community enjoyed two nights filled with competitive wine stomping, great food and world-class wine this week.
In celebration of the 2018 Coonawarra vintage, Digiorgio Family Wines, Zema Estate, Brands Laira Coonawarra and Raidis Estate took part in hosting a range of unique events.
In its 15th year, the Coonawarra After Dark weekend began at Digiorgio Family Wines with the traditional vintage stomp as 10 teams competed for glory.
People then flocked to Zema Estate to taste Francesca Zema’s popular family-style pizzas.
Brand’s Laira Coonawarra hosted popular musician Rhys Crimmin, who provided his blues and reggae tunes while attendees enjoyed fish and chips and hand-crafted brownies.
Chris Raidis showcased his famous charcoal grill at Raidis Estate on the Saturday night, while live band Kingsley George kept the crowd dancing through the night.
