THE Port MacDonnell Bayside Festival returned to the town on Sunday with people from far and wide enjoying a range of festivities on the foreshore.
Sponsored by the Mount Gambier and District Community Bank, the family focused event got under way at 10am and offered entertainment throughout the day.
A highlight was the unique and ever-popular octopus throwing competition, which had people from as far as Germany testing their throwing arm.
Children smiled as they took advantage of the entertainment on offer, which included bouncy castles, a maze, sandpit and a
mini-golf course.
