Book Week at Reidy Park Primary School

FROM Harry Potter characters to the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia, Reidy Park Primary School was full of identities from far away worlds on Friday as they celebrated Children’s Book Week.

Dressing up as their favourite story book characters, the students took part in a special parade, showing off their creative costumes to the rest of the school.

Following this year’s theme of “Escape to Everywhere”, literacy coordinator Sue Hutchesson said students spent time during the week discussing where they would most like to escape to.
