Top 5 coolest Holden vehicles ever made

TO celebrate tomorrow’s Holden is Here to Stay event, the team at O.G. Roberts have listed their top 5 coolest vehicles ever made by Holden.

Sandman

·In 1974 the Sandman panel van was introduced. It took on some design elements and sporty features of the early model Monaro. It was very popular and gained a reputation for being a love-mobile, attracting nicknames like Shaggin’ Wagon and Sin Bin.

2017 Magnum Ute

· The pinnacle of utes, there was only 240 2017 Magnum utes built. Inspired by the original Magnum developed by HDT in 1983, this limited edition is the fastest, best equipped Holden ute ever created. The Magnum includes a unique FE3 Magnum suspension tune and is rated GM level 3 track capable.

LH Torana

· The LH Torana is a V8 Aussie muscle car best known for its race car qualities. A Bathurst 1000 winner at Mount Panorama in 1975 and 1976, the LH Torana is the epitome of cool.

EK Sedan

· Forget lava lamps, turtle necks and go-go boots – the 60s was all about the Holden EK. The EK was produced between 1961 and 1962, and was the last of the Holdens with fins. What’s more, the EK model was the first Holden to feature the three-speed Hydramatic automatic gearbox.

CV8-R Monaro Coupe

· Some cars are born great, some achieve greatness, others have greatness thrust upon them. Holden’s latter-day Monaro was, in reality, all of the above. The Monaro CV8-R Coupe was a limited edition vehicle, only 320 were ever made, and they were released in only two special edition paint colours: Turbine Grey and Pulse Red.
