A SPOKESPERSON for Premier Steven Marshall has confirmed a visit to the Limestone Coast in the coming months is on his agenda.
It follows Mount Gambier City Council extending an invitation to Mr Marshall and the State Cabinet at Tuesday night’s full council meeting.
The premier has only been part of one official visit to the region since he was elected into office in March 2018.
During his election campaign, Mr Marshall made regions a key focus for every member of his party, which included the development of the hashtag #RegionsMatter.
“Regional South Australia is a key priority for the Marshall Government and it is on the Premier’s agenda to visit the South East in the coming months,” a spokesperson said.
The Shadow Cabinet will arrive on Sunday for a two-day visit which includes a country cabinet community forum at Naracoorte Town Hall.
