Rose nursery to showcase creations at annual open day

OPEN DAY: Wagners Rose Nursery will host its open day later this month, raising funds for Penola Primary School.

ROSE lover and aspiring gardeners will be spoiled for choice when Wagner’s Rose Nursery open its gates for its annual Open Day.

The nursery will showcase its wide variety of rose plants to the public while raising funds for Penola Primary School.

Visitors are invited to explore the nursery and discover rose varieties and 2020 new releases.

Brian Wagner will host tours on the day, explaining how he grows his roses and how to look after them.

Food, coffee, drinks, wine, craft beer and garden products will be available for sale with an entertainment area for children also on offer.

Gardening expert Cindy Cross will host two workshops on how to prepare a special bouquet or a beautiful floral arrangement with roses.

The open day will be held on March 29 from 10am until 4pm with entry costing $10 per adult and free for children under the age of 15.
