Penola Lions Club welcomes new members

Penola Lions Club New Members TBW Newsgroup
NEW MEMBERS: Penola Lion’s Club members Alan Thomas, Zhanna Zhukova, Jenni Hoad, Bronte Cox and Nanette Wallace at the induction dinner.

THE Penola Lions Club has welcomed five new members at a recent dinner at Chardonnay Lodge.

The club’s biggest induction ceremony was celebrated by the existing 20 members of the service group.

Club president Peter Muller said the newcomers consisted of three brand new members and two transfers from other clubs.

“We now have an interesting mix in the club which is fantastic as the newcomers are bound to bring new ideas to the local club,” Mr Muller said.

“This will benefit the club greatly as they will bring new ideas to the club and fresh eyes rather than just the same old thing.

“These people will bring a new angle of thinking as to what we can do to service the community.”
