WATTLE Range Council has returned to a “full strength” of 11 ward councillors after returning Corcoran ward representative Dennis Muhovics made the declaration of office at a public ceremony at the Millicent council chambers on Tuesday afternoon.

His declaration was formally witnessed by Justice of the Peace and a council staff member Elaine Wilson-Bennett.

In his speech of welcome, Mr Noll said Cr Muhovics would be part of a strong council team.

In reply, Cr Muhovics said he looked forward to again serving as a councillor.

“I would like to acknowledge the service of Glenn Brown to the Wattle Range Council,” Cr Muhovics said.

“I worked well with Glenn during our time together on council and when he was a senior manager with the council.”

Cr Muhovics attended his first council meeting later that day.
