A NEW Mount Gambier distribution company has the wheels in motion towards success, recently announcing a partnership with Shell Lubricants to deliver high-quality products to the region.

Triple S Distributors has secured the deal with Shell, which will be celebrated Monday with a VIP open day featuring Shelby the Shell V-Power Racing team showcar.

“It is a big step for the company and we are privileged to have the opportunity,” Triple S Distributors sales manager Darral Vivian said.

“We have big hopes for the company with plans already under way on what we can do next.

“We want to cater for not only the automotive industry but also the trucking and forestry industries as well.”

Through a tight-knit partnership with The Scott Group, Mr Vivian said Shell was a brand he was no stranger to.

“Scott’s is a long-existing company which has had a fleet of trucks to look after over the years,” Mr Vivian said.

“We have faith in these products and have been using them for a long time.

“Shell is one of the largest oil companies in the world and we know we are selling top-quality products to people in our community.”

Mr Vivian said the company offered a point of difference to others in the region, including the luxury of years of experience to draw from.

“There are lots of companies around but Scott’s know what it takes, what people need and what works,” he said.

“Over the past couple of months we have began to work out what people want.

“We are not trying to sell cheap and nasty products and we are only offering the best.”

Mr Vivian said Triple S Distributors aimed to become a one-stop shop the South East could rely on.

“We have a large warehouse with room for expansion so we will hopefully be able to cater for everyone’s needs straight away,” he said.

“I personally have a strong background in workshop and machinery so we know what people need and what works.”

The VIP open day will be held at the business’ O’Leary Road premises next Monday from 12pm to 4.30pm.

A Scott Motorsport World Series sprint car will also be on display.

Mr Vivian said the day would officially welcome the business into the community, with one-day specials, giveaways, a barbecue and much more on offer.

“We think it is important to meet the people and talk to the them in this type of business,” he said.

“We hope this will be a great social outing for like-minded individuals.

“We invite everybody to come and have a look at what our business is all about.”
