SEATS FOR ALL: Wayne Turner, Sue Jacobs, Meredith Dent, Gayle Green, Beryl Mahoney, Bellinger and Kash Meer Kaur Mussak with one of the seats the Mount Gambier Lioness Club installed along the Mount Gambier Railway Lands.

MOUNT Gambier Lioness Club has shared the proceeds of a successful financial year of fundraising by donating to various community organisations.

Around $6000 was distributed, with beneficiaries including Blaze Aid and the Australian Lions Foundation.

Both groups received $2000 to provide help to families and individuals following natural disasters such as fires, floods and drought.

The Lioness Club attempts to balance hands on work within the community alongside fundraising.

The club has had a busy financial year, balancing hands-on work and community fundraising, while also hosting a Breakaway in February where nine visiting clubs toured the region.

The club also held a recent multicultural event and the installation of seats along the Mount Gambier Railway Lands.

The club appreciates the support of the Mount Gambier community.
