EMERGENCY Services were called to a quiet city street on Friday afternoon after two vehicles crashed causing one to roll onto its side.

The collision occurred on the corner of Wandaree Court and Underwood Avenue at around 4.40pm.

A 20-year-old woman driving a vehicle traveling west on Underwood Avenue attempted to make a right hand turn into Wandaree Court causing a collision with another vehicle traveling east.
It caused the other vehicle to tip onto its side.

The woman and 45-year-old male driver of the other vehicle escaped without injury.

Metropolitan Fire Service crews were called to the scene to clear the road of debris and the vehicles were towed from the scene.

Mount Gambier Police officer in charge Senior Sergeant Chris King said police were still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

No charges or reports have been made against either driver at this stage.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is encouraged to report it to the Mount Gambier Police.
