WATTLE Range Council chief executive Ben Gower and member for Barker Tony Pasin were the guest presenters when the Limestone Coast Leadership Program recently held its fourth session at the, Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre.

The program is partially funded by the seven councils in the South East and so it was the turn of Wattle Range to host the latest forum.

The Federal Government awarded the project $40,000 though the Building Better Regions Fund round two for a pilot regional leadership program.

It will build a framework that will enable the delivery of an ongoing, sustainable program designed and supported by the region.

Mr Pasin said he appreciated the opportunity to attend the session in Millicent to hear from participants.

“It is a wonderful program that aims to support the development of emerging leaders in our community that will ultimately make our region better,” Mr Pasin said.
